Case Management Built
for Indian Forensic Labs.
DFL 360 is a digital forensic lab management system built for Indian digital forensic laboratories — FSLs, CFSLs, and private forensic labs. It brings structure, accountability, and discipline to every stage of a forensic case — from evidence inward to final report dispatch.
🇮🇳 Made in India · On-premises deployment · Built for Digital Forensic Labs
Digital forensic labs in India face real operational gaps.
DFL 360 is built to close them.
Your Forensic Case Data Must Stay Inside Your Lab
Software that sends data to external servers has no place in a forensic lab. Every case file, exhibit record, and examination note belongs on your own infrastructure — not on someone else's cloud.
An Expired Licence Should Not Lock You Out of Your Own Cases
A court summons can arrive 5 to 10 years after a case is closed. With most forensic software, a lapsed licence means you cannot open the case. That is a gap no forensic lab can afford to have.
There Is No Record of Which Tool Was Used on Which Exhibit
Without a system that logs tool usage, there is no way to show — in writing — which forensic tool was used, at what version, on which device. That is a gap in every case that goes through your lab.
No One Knows How Much Work Each Examiner Is Actually Doing
How many cases each examiner has handled, how long each took, and what is still pending — this information does not exist in any reliable form. It is either not tracked, or tracked on paper and quickly outdated.
Finding Out Where a Case Stands Means Asking Someone
The only way for a supervisor to know the current stage of a case is to ask the examiner directly. There is no single place to see all cases, their status, and what needs attention next.
Every Examiner Follows the SOP Differently
When examination procedures exist only on paper, each examiner reads and applies them in their own way. The quality of the examination depends on the person — not the process. That gap shows up when cases are reviewed.
Data on Paper Cannot Tell You Anything
When case records, exhibit logs, and examination notes exist only on paper, you cannot search them, count them, or spot patterns in them. You cannot see which case types take longest, which examiners are overloaded, or how the lab is performing.
Everything a Forensic Lab Needs.
Nothing It Doesn't.
DFL 360 covers the complete lifecycle of a digital forensic case — structured, enforced, and documented at every stage.
Evidence Inward & Case Registration
Structured intake from the moment evidence arrives. Every case is registered with complete documentation before any examination begins.
Chain of Custody Management
Every handover, transfer, and status change on every exhibit is logged automatically — creating an unbroken, tamper-proof custody record.
SOP-Enforced Examination
The correct examination procedure is loaded automatically by case type. Mandatory steps are enforced in sequence — the process cannot be bypassed.
Automated Document Generation
Lab documents and reports are generated from data already entered in the system — no re-typing, no inconsistencies, no missed fields.
Lab Dashboard & Performance Tracking
Real-time visibility of case status, examiner workloads, and lab performance — giving supervisors the oversight they need without manual updates.
One Continuous Workflow —
From Inward to Final Report.
Every phase connects to the next. Data entered at inward carries through examination, report generation, and dispatch — with a complete audit trail at every step.
Security & Data Control
DFL 360 is deployed entirely on your own infrastructure — your forensic case data never leaves your environment. There is no cloud component, no external data transfer, and no third-party dependency. Every action in the system is logged with a timestamp, creating a complete and tamper-proof record of all case activity.
DFL 360 — Common Questions
Is DFL 360 suitable for FSLs, CFSLs, and private forensic labs?
Yes. DFL 360 is designed for Indian digital forensic laboratories of all types — state FSLs, CFSLs, and private forensic labs. The system is built around how Indian forensic labs are actually structured and how cases are handled in practice.
Is DFL 360 deployed on-premises?
Yes. DFL 360 runs entirely within your own infrastructure. There is no cloud component, no external data transfer, and no internet dependency for any core function. Air-gapped deployment is fully supported.
Does DFL 360 support multiple case types and disciplines?
Yes. DFL 360 is configurable for different forensic disciplines — including disk, mobile, network, and cloud forensics. Each case type can have its own workflow, examination procedure, and documentation format.
How does SOP enforcement actually work?
When a case is assigned, the system loads the appropriate examination procedure for that case type. Steps must be completed in the defined sequence — the system prevents out-of-order or incomplete examination without supervisor override.
Is DFL 360 suitable for labs of different sizes?
Yes. DFL 360 is designed for labs of all sizes — from single-examiner private labs to large state FSLs with multiple departments and dozens of examiners. Access levels are structured around lab hierarchy.
Does Cyfonix provide deployment and training support?
Yes. Every deployment includes onboarding, role-specific training, and documentation. Ongoing support is included as part of the licence. Contact us to discuss your lab's specific requirements.
